Ken, I just wanted to let you know we have a 50 ton w/ a 35,000 lb SRS in stock. The link to it on 411 is http://tow411.yuku.com/topic/36838. Please let me know if you are interested. We have (3) 50 tons in stock, (1) 25 ton and 4 more on the way, (2) 14 tons and an 85 ton rotator. We're Jerr-Dan's largest stocking Heavy Wrecker distributor so chances are if we don't have what you need there will be something on order we can change to fit your needs. Thanks in advance for any oppertunity in helping you.

    Ken,

Just giving you a shout on this subject. Seems to me that RCW you gave me clears up the situation. I am running it by the weigh master up in my area I will keep you posted. We are currently working on getting the WSP and Miller industries together all in one room this year for a meeting about flat towing and hookups. Also weight restrictions in our state. I am currently working with miller ind. to get a rotator built but with the large investment in one truck I would also like to be able to pick up a Volkswagen at least and not get ticketed for it!!!!! So we are working on a tri drive with oversided front tires or double steer axles. I don't know which of these is going to work but like I said I'm not spending hundreds of thousands on a "tow truck" that cant tow anything. As it stands now with our weight restrictions I might as well buy a crane or rent one. I needed one last night on that PUD van. PUD instead brought their crane out with a crew of 12 and did the job all I got to do is tow it back to the shop. Anyways take care and keep me posted on your end.

Everyone here thinks flat towing is ok, but they also think taking a 33000 gvw truck with air and licensing it at 26000gvw doesn't require a cdl. Go figure.
